According to the folks at Poop Report April 17th is annual Poop for Peace day. A day to put aside our differences, put down the paper, and concentrate on the pure serenity of the act of pooping- it is, after all, the great universal equalizer. As Poop for Peace day draws to a close I leave you with this:

Welcome to the Diary of Li'l Crohnsie, where you can find not only my musings and rants about the horror of my bowel activities, but articles, anecdotes and other resources for those of us living with IBD and similar chronic health issues.
Despite having been re-diagnosed as having Ulcerative Colitis, "Li'l Crohnsie" was a college nickname, thus I have dubbed this blog as such for nostalgic reasons.
The purpose of this blog is, contrary to popular belief, not to gross you out but rather to encourage other patients of IBD to shed the shame that is often associated with excess (and often uncontrollable) pooping.
